“Another absolutely fantastic holiday at Ardmair Bay House, and once
again the weather was brilliant. The only down side were the dreaded midge,
unlike last year the little horrors were out in number this year, so we never
ventured near the hot tub as we got eaten alive sitting out on the patio.
That aside the holiday was wonderfully relaxing (even if we did do
a lot of driving), but we wanted to see as much of the coastal areas
as possible, so we went out via Ledmore, Rosehall, Lairg then on to
join the A9 at Kirkton, off to John O’Groats then return via Thurso,
Tongue, Durness, Scourie and Newton. Well worth the drive!”
